The George Floyd Project
I was commissioned to create an animated mural for George Floyd by change.org, Kaleida and George Floyd's family, to be projected onto confederacy statues/monuments in the US. Finding a visual balance was vital for what was a tough subject emotionally, research included learning about the man's life and reading police transcripts of his final moments, as well as going through the names of other black people who have been murdered by the police in the last few years.
